We don’t expect you to read this, but if you do, it should put your mind at rest.  In a world of ever increasing data capture, we collect and hold very little.  But nevertheless at Mimo we take privacy and security very seriously.

All of the information we do have will be used and held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related national data laws and legislation. Your personal data, like our clients and our work, is treated with respect and we will always treat it safely, securely and in line with the law. And we will promise to uphold your data rights; you can find out more about your rights under the GDPR here

We are delighted when people contact us, so if you do, we will hang onto your contact details for only as long as we need it and for it’s original purpose, so we can respond to you, and perhaps occasionally send you unmissable Mimo news and if you become a client, seasonal greetings. But you’re in control and you can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages us at any time.

We don’t buy lists from anyone, so if you don’t know us, you won’t find us in your inbox or voicemail unless there is a clear legitimate interest, a contract or you have given us your consent.

We never give, lend or sell any data to anyone else.  It would be a bit like selling one of your children - occasionally tempting but in the cold light of day a sure route to social exclusion and prison (in our world these tend to go hand in hand).

And all the information we hold - from names and emails to IP addresses from analytics to confidential business data - sis stored securely and where relevant encrypted.  We only work with trusted processing partners and when we use cloud or any other technology, it’s carefully considered and always world class. 

Trust is everything to Mimo, and when we work with suppliers we ensure contractual terms in place with third parties that process your data to ensure that your data and your rights are secured. And if we ever transfer information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will make sure that it is protected by ensuring safeguards are in place.
